Hi guys, I recently got back from Belgrade where I had surgery with Dr Miroslav Djordjevic  ( Miro) -

STAGE 1 was performed on November 2012. 
STAGE 2 was done in March 2014 
STAGE 3 in December 2014 
And ONE FINAL TRIP for urethral closure to the tip - See video

I went for direct MLD  Phalloplasty, including Testicular implants/ Vaginectomy / Urethral reconstruction / Glansplasty -

 Am willing to share my experience and give an acurate feedback about the outcome - I will try and precise informations that seem relevant out of my own journey there -

I will be pretty positive about it, won't forget to include the few downs that came along and will also allow a few tips about pre-op planning and post-op too - Would like to insist on the fact that this is one person's observation, and one's body reaction to a quite heavy surgery -

it is Not an effortless intervention, you  have to be prepared both mentally and physically and sure of your choice, be ready for pain management and discomfort and make sure you're in the right environment for recovery time -

A WORD ABOUT SERBIA AND ARRIVAL IN BELGRADE

Serbia is part of what was known as  ex-Yougoslavia just a decade back, and country is in post-conflict and political restrains expansion; it is not quite heard of yet but the country is developping smoothly and surely, people are of a polite and pragmatical type. 
You find a good sense of hospitality and forwardness that can be found quite appealing; the arrival in belgrade is taken care of for all patients from overseas - 
One of the team (Djordje or Leo) will come and pick you up at the airport all the way to place of accomodation. So even though one is travelling from hundred miles away, landing there is not really an issue as long as you've kept precise about day and time of arrival , someone will be there to greet you.

The currency is made in dinars, it is possible to exchange euros and dollars once you get there;

I established first contact with Dr Miro in May 2011 and have kept in touch since;

he is fast to answer, and writes what's necessary, he does answer to questions but i recommend spending some time making your own research beforehand and be quite clear about what surgery fits you before getting in touch. He is also fine with phone or skype contact with the patients.

Most of the communication is made through his assistant Marta, who also has a training in surgery;

There are 3 other guys that work with Miro, including the anesthesiologist who takes care of the pre-operative medical exams that are required before coming to Belgrade.

Contact with all of them is easy enough but have in mind that you are one patient amongst many others,

they are a hard-working team, with heavy schedules and as much care you do get, they also have a lot of different surgeries to carry out.

Miro is definitely a very skilled surgeon, passionately dedicated to his work, has a direct and warm approach and will answer your questions in a very short lenght of time.

Hi guys, came back from Belgrade last month (Jan.2015) and result from 3rd phase
definitely works for me

Here is abrief description of what I asked Dr Miro to perform this time around -

Stage 3 : Canal Tubularization ( from half to tip of the penis)/ Aesthetical corrections (lump removal @ the base) + conclusive clitoral glans burial.

No erectile device as of yet - and that's a choice -
1 - I am okay taking my time on this one
2 - I can manage good intercourse (and from post stage 1) as it is.
3 - Penis got firmer as each phase went.

Phase 1 = Extension of original urethra to 1/3rd or half of the penis
Phase 2 = Buccal Mucosa graft (that has to settle for a few months)
Phase 3 = Canal Tubularization (closure of the final canal)

Enough of those recovery speeches, what really counts is what you get after you've dutifully managed that out-of-this-world post-op care, to be taken seriously (very seriously indeed) but that you only want to go through w/th a touch of sense of humor, as tough as it can get sometimes.

Question is can I actually use this cock at all, what about rigidity, intercourse and how do I relate to it post second stage -

 Reassuring news is that yes some action is definitely and positively manageable -
As a reminder, I started the phallo process whilst in a gay relationship;
and I am way more of a topper than the opposite, so lets see what surgery has done for me so far.
The only way I could manage penetrative sex between stage 1 and stage 2 was to go w/th a chick - penis is not firm enough for anal intercourse.
It does not mean you can't have gay plays , after all penetration is far from being the only thing you can do to someone; rubbing, wanking, oral.. are available options.
As hard as u can try and set focus on other things than penetration, straightforward gay sex is still an issue when you don't enjoy bottoming that much.
Thats for the first drawback, let's move on to what actually Works and definitely makes the whole process worth it -


Post First stage
Let's push it a little and confirm that yes u can definitely go for penetrative sex after stage 1 only -

Wanking is possible after a reasonable healing time of 6 to 8 weeks after surgery
Wait until you've totally recovered and you may want to give penetration a try.
Your cock may not get a full erection but it is large enough to use it and 2 condoms make for the firmness; some added mental effort and serious play with your partner and you might even be surprised to find out that you can get close to stiffness. Happened to me a few times and that felt great. After all there is blood streaming in that shaft of yours.

TIPS : Infections are more likely to appear in that first year after stage one, always have some antibiotics on the side (Amoxycilline) and go for a course within first sign of something wrong going down there.

Post Second stage
Glansplasty is a must, makes a real difference to how your penis looks like but also Feels like and helps a good deal to diminish that "limp" sensation you may have to struggle w/th after stage 1 only.
Your cock gets a proper shape and oral sex is way more comfortable - both for you and your partner.
Wanking also feels different now that clithead's been attached and sown to the base, I did Not enjoy that "rubbing against it" feeling so that has vanished too, along w/th last remnants of slight dysphoria.
Penetrative sex is enhanced and accepting the fact that there's no point getting frustrated from what you Can't get - such as tough hard-on or the ability to ejaculate - helps a great deal in enjoying what you can actually do, and a lot of options open up.
I can now go for rough and raw, w/th a chick easily enough -
as for another bloke, that would have to be his own ability to open up. Anal sex even amongst gay bio guys is always a deal about who fucks and who wants to be fucked, and to be fucked, you need to open up, and what you decide to shove inside does not have to be stiff as a piece of wood -  Phalloplasty surgery conceived for trans makes large enough penises to arouse strong desire and allow different types of sexual encounters, wether gay, straight or bisexual.


TIPS: A cock ring to hold the base - + it looks good -
 "They Fit" type of condom, when you're on the larger side and to cover buccal mucosa graft
