A little update would not do any wrong
Fully recovered from stage 2 now, am back on track and have been totally mobile since end of May (surgery was in March)
All in all it was about 2 months before my genitals were clear of any suture or soreness.
First cycle ride felt really welcomed, being able to stand up a whole day, garden and get back on a ladder too -
Because I could not use lower part of the body so much for a while ( and yuh.. was that hard to accept...) I had the chance to do shoulders (but also arms/abdominals) work-out by weightlifting - that was perfect up until I could use my whole body again.
Lads, I really want to insist yet again that post-op phallo is definitely not something to take lightly -
It is nervously straining to be totally aware of your surroundings, to feel awake and sharp and then find out each day that your body can't keep up. You can always perform necessary stuff, like going shopping, manage a walk, or else but it requires patience and some rest before you can pretend a whole day out and about, and it can get quite frustrating at times -
In the end , looking back at it, am grateful enough not to have had any major complications, I still had to deal w/th an open wound between my balls and my butt, due to the flight back when a few stitches just ruptured - It took me a week to decide that as long as i kept it clean and that it had no sign of infection, I would not show up in a hospital service - it healed by itself in the end.
Chronological sum-up :
Surgery on the 10th of March
Upper body work-outs : end April
Outdoor physical activities (without straining): end May
Back to travelling: mid-June
TIPS: Forcing yourself to rush back into work or physical activities is not the way to go if u want to avoid complications -
Always plan 2-3 weeks longer than what you're being told for post-op healing -
CONDOM ON
